My exploratory ride lasted just under two hours and the workout made up for the fact that I slept through my gym plans this morning. All in all, a successful afternoon!

Lovely day for a long bike ride
The tornado-storms from yesterday made today a breezy, sunny day (that wasn't oppressively hot!) and I decided to explore the bike path near my house. It was beautiful and scenic and very well done- lots of underpasses to avoid having to cross major roads, nicely paved and full of other bikers and runners.
My exploratory ride lasted just under two hours and the workout made up for the fact that I slept through my gym plans this morning. All in all, a successful afternoon!
