Watching USA soccer on tv while streaming the women's gymnastic team finals. I LOVE THE OLYMPICS!

So! Close!
Megan and I are launching a kickstarter project (www.kickstarter.com) next week, and I think our video is finally, FINALLY done! I'll post a link once its up and running, but a lot of the strange pictures lately have been coming from our hours of filming for this video. We both find the video to be quite entertaining :-)

FH under the lights
I played some pickup field hockey tonight after my floor hockey game... Needless to say, I should be able to sleep tonight!

Oh, you know
I'm going to pretend it is perfectly normal to be shooting some video featuring a mailbox. Yep, completely, 100% normal.

It came, it came, it came!
My fancy new computer arrived today and I couldn't be more excited! Someone in the office said I was probably more excited than I will be on my wedding day, and, well, its very possible :-)

Back to reality
As you can tell, I got lazy on vacation and didn't post everyday. Sign of a successful vacation? I think so!

Pug gate
My parents still don't have power, and Ellie the pug just wasn't handling the heat well, so she came to the office with me and Carter. While an inflatable walrus wouldn't be a sufficient gate for most dogs (even pugs), it kept the Diva contained.
Full disclosure: she spent most of the day sleeping under Carter's desk and probably didn't notice that the walrus even existed.

Powerless weekend (7-1-12)
Pretty much no one in the city of Alexandria had power, so I felt particularly lucky to have such a MacGyver Dad. Even though my parents didn't have power, they had some industrial fans running off a generator, and more importantly, a charging station for our Apple products.
Powerless weekend (6-30-12)
In addition to losing power, most of our cell phones also stopped working. Carter and Jon had to borrow Ing and Liesl's play phone just so they could have a working landline.
